During today's game, the kids were watching their favorite show "Fairly OddParents". Anyway, the plot of today's episode was Timmy wished he had never been born, and the fairies show him that if he had never been born, how much better things would have been.

 

When he decided he wanted to be born again, the fairies tried to stop him, and one thing they said was "Think of the world champion Chicago Cubs!"

 

So, in summation, Forget dusty, hendry, MacPhail, heck, forget Bartman and the Goat. The reason the Cubs haven't won is because Timmy Turner was born.
