I could care less about his behavior on the field as long as he pitches well and wins games.

 

Ahh, therein lies the problem. As long as Z can't control his behavior on the field, he will have trouble pitching with any consistency whatsoever. It's a shame temper tantrums and other ridiculous, pointless bull honkey have put a damper of inconsistency on an otherwise elite caliber player.

If I were Murton, I damn sure wouldn't have taken that crap from Z. I wonder if it ever occured to Z that maybe, just maybe he should keep the ball down???

 

 

If (IF. . . again, IF) Z is doing this sort of thing, how can any of the players respect him?

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I just thought Id say that I was at todays game, and Murton and Z spent like half of the game joking around and chatting it up together in the dugout.

 

Definitely no bad feelings there.
