heh, we seem about even going into tomorrow given my two start advantage so far. my offense needs to come back to life!

i don't know about it being even. you're up 30 right now, and you had two QS (never would have guessed shitty washburn would have pitched so well) to my one. you'll be up by at least 35 starting tomorrow. you have two starts left (westbrook and garcia), i have three (beckett, myers and perez). i'd feel a little bit better about things if i hadn't lost patterson.

 

my offense sucks this week too. i had 51 rbis last week, 10 so far this week. teix needs to quit hitting like sean casey have a three homer game or something.

and with one swing of the bat, i'm probably done this week. f'in beckett...may want to consider not walking the bases loaded.

 

you've been around long enough to know about the BRS curse . . . just be thankful hafner is only one of the walks. I wouldn't give up though, your offense is good enough to make up the deficit and its not like I have Bronson Arroyo starting . . .

Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. After setting the Roadkill high for points last week, my team is having a tough time this week. The only thing saving me is that my opponent, the gentleman with the burning bulbs, is having a worse week than me. Who would figure that Ramirez and Peavy would be in such a funk.

yeah, i saw that. quite a productive 0-1.

 

he only gave up four hits, but he was about six inches from giving up five (not to mention six runs). that could have made things a little more interesting.

 

though i am down a lot more than i thought i was. my offense has done squat this week. 51 rbis last week, 19 this week...ugh.

yea, even after Myers start you hadn't gained much ground. You'll have a tough task catching up though it certainly isn't impossible.

i was thinking i had a chance after garcia started off so bad in the 1st. then if kotchman would have just gotten a little more on his ball, it's probably like a 12-15 point swing...

 

bah, all i need is a couple really good starts from oliver perez and scott elarton. 8-[

crap...now tejada's hurt. so far this week i've had injuries to barrett, tejada, bradley, street and patterson. yikes.

 

My whole starting middle infield is hurt.

 

I'm still hanging in there, but I'd like to have Cantu and Lugo in there as apposed to Wilson and Kennedy.

well, i guess if carlos guillen is going to outscore teix, tejada, matsui, and carlos lee, i'm not gonna win. at least all my guys suck this week, so i'm not wasting any good performances.

 

time to set my sides on tim. :D

good idea - people seem to have forgotten how good guillen is when healthy.

this just in - glendon rusch is bad.

 

that news came in 'round 1997. he just wants to see the hand sanitizers get back in this game. lee was about two feet from making this one a four homer game for me.
