Now are these similarities good? Or do they lack individuality?

If I was just given the interior, I couldn't pick that out from about 6 or so other stadiums. I don't get why they continue to go with those stadium styles.

They have gone from the cookie cutter multi-purpose stadiums of the 70's to the fancier, new cookie cutter "retro" style. It started with Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

 

I went to both Cincy and Philly a couple of years ago and they were so simular it was almost sad. The scoreboard, the style...

GABP is very dull and a bad place to watch baseball.

 

I did see Adam Dunn's 500 some foot home run, though.

They probably want a baseball-only facility, and want to make upgrades to the ballpark at their will, and not have to haggle with the Redskins to do it.

My original point stands, though. They probably want a ballpark they can customize to their standards and upgrade/change without having to consult another franchise.
