Hey guys, I know theres alot of these threads, but I still wanted some input about my team.

It's a 12 person 5 x 5 roto league with a 21 man roster

I had the 10th pick and I think I made out with a pretty decent, well rounded team:

C- Bengie Molina

1B- Todd Helton

2B- Chone Figgins

3B- David Wright

SS- Felipe Lopez

OF- Bobby Abreu

OF- Vernon Wells

OF- Matt Holliday

Util- Dan Johnson

Bench- Ryan Freel, Clint Barmes, Jeremy Hermida

SP- Mark Prior

SP- Rich Harden

RP- Joe Nathan

RP- Armando Benitez

P- John Lackey

P- Mike Gonzalez

P- Scott Kazmir

Bench- Joe Blanton, Oliver Perez

I'd say I have stolen bases pretty well covered, and my infield os pretty stacked, but I might be a little light on power.

You drafted the same player twice! (Figgins and Freel may as well be the same person)

Abreu, Wright, and Helton are a good foundation for your offense. You've got a lot of power/speed combinations, which is good, because you don't have to tie up spots with "speed" guys who don't contribute a lot else.

Hermida was a really sharp pickup.

Pitching looks pretty good at the top. I don't know if I'd have gone with Benitez--there were probably options with better upside available when you picked him.

Altogether, i like it. Balanced. Injuries will happen, so it's nice that you're not really depending on any one or two players entirely too much for any one thing.

Yeah, Figgins wasn't my first choice at second base, but Utley went one pick ahead of me in the third round. I pretty much got Freel figuring he could play many positions and possibly play him in the outfield but then I picked up Holliday all the way in the 11th round.

I was sort of blindsided with relief pitching also; relievers were taken pretty strangely in this draft. Huston Street was taken as the first reliever really early, so then relievers strarted flying off the board by the fourth round. K-Rod ended up being the fourth reliever taken, so I just waited and got Nathan in the seventh round. By the time I got Benitez, the only decent closers left were Dempster (who I completely missed), Borowski, and Gonzalez, who I ended up getting anyways.

You can probably pick up a "new" closer at some point, so it shouldn't be a big deal. It's just that lesser known guys like Ray or Orvalla might have been there by the time Benitez seemed like your best bet. Heck, some of them may still be there now.

I like your starting pitching a lot.

I think that's an excellent team. You will get 20 HRs out of about 7 spots possibly. With guys like Wright, Helton, and Abreu likely over 30. Great speed in Figgins and Abreu. Freel could even get you some steals if you sit Johnson for a week or two.

Only complaint I have is, Blanton shouldn't be on your bench.

My gut instinct looking at your team is to say the league must be filled with inexperienced players. No way on earth you should have Helton, Wright and Abreu on the same team.
