TV special on WGN-TV tonight and Sunday-Go see social board

This story is also on the social board but it's a reminder for all of the younder generation of this board who didnt grow up in the Chicago area to watch Bozo, Gar & Ray: WGNTV CLASSICS.

 

This special will be hosted by Dean Richards who is on WGNTV and Radio.

 

It will be airing tonight on WGN superstation from 7-9pmct and 2-4pmct on Sunday and that will lead you right into Bears/Packers at 4pmct on FOX.

 

For all you older Chicagoans it probably will make you all a little misty eyed. Set your TIVO's, set you vcr's.

 

Ray Rayner was our Sportscenter before there was a sportscenter. BTW -there is no sports footage on here. It doesnt exsits anymore. But i will say there is a segment of Garfield Goose from 1959 in which Gar and Romberg Rabbit score 2 tickets to the '59 series.

 

None of you will get to see the Ray Rayner dual Cubs/Sox baseball cap.

 

It will also have snipets of Clutch Cargo, Hardrock Coco and Joe, Suzy Snowflake, Frosty the Snowman and Diver Dan.
