Anyone want to split some tickets? I was thinking to make the trip to SD for the semifinals and finals but I don't think I want to go to all three games. Raisin? Bigbadb? Tim? Vik? Bueller?

When are the games and how much do they cost? I haven't given it much thought, but I'd probably go if someone else did all the legwork for the tickets.

March 18 and 20 - tickets range from $15 to $300 per game. I would opt for cheaper tickets.

I'd go up to $50 a seat, no more. I was kind of hoping to NOT show my support for Petco/Padres this coming season, but I suppose WBC isn't really related.

Do you have a preference on games BBB? I would probably only go to one on Saturday - I would like to see the final but it causes me to take a day and a half off work.

How exactly will this be going down? My wife would kill me if she didn't go to any of the games.

 

If the games aren't that far apart on Saturday, I'd like to go to both of them. I can probably move any tickets you buy that you can't use.

 

I've been to games with Tim, so he can vouge for me as far as whether I'm good for my part of tickets. Heck, if I have someone to go to the games with, I'll go to all 3. I don't care.

 

Get 3 or 4 tickets per game together. We can sort it out later.

 

Do season ticket holders get any special deals on tickets? I have friends with season tickets to Padres games.

Ok, I will get a strip of four. My mom might kill me if I go to all three though. I don't think there is any connection with the Padres.

I'm sure you've been to Petco, but seats anywhere are decent. Wherever you want to sit is fine with me. The seats 6 rows from the dugout when the Cubs were here last year were pretty good. :D

 

The Padres local tv station zoomed in on the 4 of us with our Cub gear on late in that game while all the season ticket Padres fans were already gone, and stayed on us for about 30 seconds.

 

Being in the bar business and the game televised in all those locations, I thought I'd never hear the end of the "hey, I saw you on tv. You were at the game" comments. That was months ago, and I still run into people who saved that line for me.

No, but its getting close. I got upper deck infield tickets about two hours ago. I got four for each game so we may have some extras if you want to drive down.

Well, it depends which weekend I head out to Arizona for spring training. I'd be very interested if you have any spares though (as long as they're $50 or under).
