I put a claim on him as soon as I read that he was dropped. Will I lose out on him because my record is too good?

 

The way it works as the waiver order is determined initially by draft order, though the waiver order is reversed. (ie pick one gets last waiver spot, etc).

 

After someone uses their waiver spot, they automatically go to the back of the line. That's why, if you have a primo waiver spot, you don't want to waste it on someone like Brendan Haywood, because at some point during the season somebody might get dropped that's actually good. That's why I have the number two spot, since I picked 11th out of 12.

yep. when you draft very stupidly like me, and draft white guys only like derwood, then a few teams are going to be stacked. :(

Actually I drafted Brand and LeBron, traded Mike Redd in a package for Davis back in November, I believe.

 

Anyone would know to draft Brand and LeBron. I prefer to receive proper credit for trading Redd for Baron and some of my "lesser" picks like Harrington, Bell and Jamison, who inexplicably fell into the latter half of the draft.

Not a bad idea. Overall, I'm pretty impressed that my boys are in 4th place. Might be closer to 3rd if I didn't brain freeze on a few days and left good scorers on the bench. I am now getting in the habit of setting my lineups for a full week ahead of time so I don't have to remember to do it every day.

The fantasy playoffs are a few weeks before the actual NBA season ends. Just hope you don't have guys on great teams like the Pistons who will see their minutes drop significantly as they try and rest up for the playoffs (The Fab Five in Detroit might drop to 20-25 minutes a night).
