    lol is anyone else concerned about his velocity, or is the Des Moines gun typically slow??? 89-93 is not "Wood-esque" The loss of velocity after surgery is what I was worried about the most.

    Barrett got pissed because Roberts was padding his stats against the Cubs. It's that simple.

    Biggest mistake I made this year was to draft him in my fantasy league. I'm about to drop him.

    Exactly, and the talent level was as good or better in 2004 and 2005 and Baker got nothing out of them either. What happened in 2004 is a bigger crime that what's happening this year. That team was a playoff team if Baker's not managing it. Hendry didn't help matters when he didnt trade for a much needed closer.

    Agreed that 12 mil/2 he gave Neifi and Rusch could've been used on a much needed SP. These guys have to go.

    prior's coming back? Oh yeah, after several weeks his pitch count is up to 26.

    If we had a good GM he would be aready gone but since we're stuck with Hendry, there's a good chance we are stuck w/ Baker too.

    List of people that need to go in order for the Cubs to be on the right path: MacPhail Hendry Baker Clines Sarge Rothschild Hairston Bynum Mabry Rusch Neifi JJones - playing a bit better Pierre - early but so far hasn't impressed.

    Something needs to be done. This cannot be acceptable. Somebody needs to be released or fired or something! Oh that great GM Hendry knows what he's doing. How many players should be DFA'd at this point? This man got an extension? Wow.

    This makes a lot of sense actually. We are lacking 2B on this team. One thing is for certain though. Prior would give you more offense than Perez.
