  1. Did you actually have to touch that hot stove to know you would burn your hand ? I have to be burned at least once to know I shall not do it again. A truly wise man learns from the mistakes of others. HA, this is true!

  3. i think our recent stretch of not scoring shows that even with lights out pitching if you can't score you will not win.
  4. Did that cause his atrocious 2005, too, Jim? Hendry and his buy high, sell low philosophy.
  5. No free pass here. More of the blame falls on Hendry this year because he didn't do enough in my eyes to make this team competitive. How many times are we supposed to rely on our injury prone pitchers? How come we didn't sign another starter instead of Rusch? Jock Jones? I thought even Hendry wouldn't be that dumb but I should have known better.
  6. In almost every other organization, heads would be rolling. imagine if this were the yankees there is a reason htey have 26 rings and we dont have one in 100 years Yes, 200 million reasons. Yes, I'm sure they have always had a payroll of 200mil.
  7. Agreed, and things won't change until this organization gets cleared out from top to bottom.
  8. This thread is classic.
  9. Tell us what it was like, Grandpa.
  10. 7 and 7 time! Maybe straight 7. I prefer absinthe. Don't knock absinthe until you try it :)
  11. wow losing must be exciting. Leave it up to CubfaninCA to brighten up my day.
  12. So, when are we going to score a run? This offense is so bad right now. I hope you sleep well Hendry.
  13. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA. THAT WAS THE MOST PATHETIC THROW I HAVE SEEN FROM CF!!! PATHETIC!! NOODLE ARM IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!
  14. I'll give props to Neifi for that one. That was funny.
  15. Worse than Macias if that was ever possible.
  16. Yeah, I was thinking to myself why is this guy running around the OF?
  17. This might come down to whomever runs out of pitchers first.
  18. is that sarcasm? Except for right field, I would agree. I like the youngsters as much as the next guy, but Murton and Cedeno are far from All-Stars. Neither are Walker, Jones and Pierre. In fact the only 2 All-Stars I see are Lee and Ramirez. C - Barret is the best hitting catcher in the NL 1B - Lee 2B - If Walker plays everyday he could be an allstar. 3B - Ram SS - Cedeno could be the starting SS for the NL this year. The outfield is bumalicious besides Murt, who has all star potential, but is not quite there. The infield rocks. Cedeno is good but he also has to compete with Reyes, J.Wilson, and Lopez at SS. Walker has to compete with Phillips and Utley so I don't see that happening either. Ram so far isn't even looking close to how he was last year. Let's not jump the gun and call everybody potential all-stars because there are better players out there.
