    Maurice Clarett 2002 Buckeyes Clinton Portis 2001 Hurricanes I know those two rushed for 1000 yards. Neither White or Bush did at USC? Are you sure about that? And what about Jacob Hester last year? ETA: Unless you don't count the SEC Title game as "regular season" Hester was over 1,000 last year.

    I was there tonight and I had a blast or the first 59:45 of the game. It would have been great to come out of their with 2 and nothing for the Blues but at least khabi put up the wall in the 4 on 3 in OT to at least get us a single point. Easily the most fun I've ever had at a hockey game and I will be a regular at games (in the Loo) this season.

    If you extend him to a 3rd inning I can almost guarantee that BJ Upton, due up third in the 9th, will hit one over the monster. I think the Sox (with the off day tomorrow) will extend Papelbon to his threshold. Tie game. Top 9.

    I think this would be more crushing if Boston came back like this and couldn't get that last run. I'm hoping that happens...

    This game sure has been fun to watch. Silence in Beantown is such a sweet sound. Maybe we'll hear a Papelbon interview after the game, because I'd sure love to hear what he'd have to say about this series! Something along the lines of, "for us, payback was a bitch."

    One particular fan who was excited about his team winning caught flak from at first a moderator when others piled up on him. His comments were innocuous in a game thread talking about a game that his team had won. He was correct when he was saying that he was cheering because his team won, NOT because the Bears lost. It seemed like the perpetrators of that issue with wading through garbage posts come from the Bears fans (and as I said, a moderator on this board got it started, and I have a ton of respect for Raisin). That said, I never received a response to my inquiry in the other thread about what "proper etiquette" would be in a Bears/Packers game thread considering there are a few handfuls of big Packers fans on this board.
