What I like is that you now have to think for a while to know where the weakest link on the team is...I voted Relief Pitching...but that will hopefully be addressed by a healthy Wood coming back...assuming that gets rid of Eyre, then I go with Power...but I'm not positive who I replace at that point(assuming healthy team and normal roster)...I guess you start with Pagan, after that your next player out would likely have to be one of the Geaux Geaux Cubs...and I really like what they bring so it would take something awful big for me to be comfortable with them going back down.

BTW....its amazing to me how much more enjoyable the MLB-EI Package is when the Cubs are in contention.... :D

Brewer announcer dangerously close to making the 300 mil reference to Cubs payroll...its amazing how much they're talking about the Cubs... Brewers down to their last out.

Some perspective.... STL is now 6 games behind us…9.5 behind the Brewers…and fading fast….Cincy could catch them w/in the next week or so… Cubs have 68 games left…so if we go just 36-32…(very realistic, I expect much better)…that puts us at 86-76. To get to 86-76 STL has to go 43-27 over the same stretch….absolutely no reason to believe they can do that given their performance to date...and THAT'S just to catch us…to catch the Brewers or win the WC STL needs to go something like 48-22 over the same stretch….
