    Makes me miss the old live stadium cam that used to be on the pre-MLB run Cubs.com. I jused to love to have that up and "watch" the game...

    Although you'd expect his numbers at age 33 to be somewhat below his career numbers, especially considering that he is a catcher. Hopefully he continues to be a second half player and puts up decent numbers for the Cubs. I was one who thought that his numbers as a Cub would be much closer to his career line than his line in the AL, but I can't say I thought they'd be this good. Agreed, when I defended the move a couple weeks ago I thought he had the chance to be adequate....right now he's pretty good.

    Thanks... So with the very small sample size of at bats with the Cubs he's seeing over 4 pitches per plate appearance (very good), and his BA/BIP is .071 (statistically that has to improve) .... I'm not ready to write him off just yet... .286/.385/.777 And that's including an awful first 3-4 games. I'm still not advocating resigning him, but considering Barrett is hitting .230/.238/.528 in the same time period, maybe Hendry deserves some credit for this deal...or at least its not nearly the horrible trade that some made it out to be.

    I could easily get by with a Pie/Murton/Patterson OF. I could care less about Floyd starting, and I actually hate Jones and Pagan, so its easy for me. Somebody mail Floyd to another continent. What...2 HRs and 4 doubles in the last two and a half months don't cut it?

    Our Catcher's hitting is nowhere near the biggest problem right now.... I'd guess its somewhere around 5th...behind LF RF CF, and 2B
