    IF we could get him healthy and back ready to play by Tuesday it would be OUTSTANDING....a HUGE boost.

    I'm certain he did. He's also outstanding with the bases loaded: .429/.438 (14 abs) With a Man on 2nd: .353/.436 (34 abs); and with men on and 2 out: .296/.367(71 abs) Plus, if we bat him 5th: .357/.357 (14 abs) we are golden.

    (I know some people on here will LOVE this stat).... I think another reason he's here is because he's "Clutch" His #s with RISP and 2 outs are pretty damn good... .315/.383 (53 ab sample size).... I bet Hendry took this into account.

    If Monroe can continue to hit lefties I think this is a very solid pick up, especially if we gave up a little bit of nothing...better than Fox, if he gets just a few timely hits down the stretch off lefties it could be a great move.
