    True...but it was also almost expected...seriously...someone in the game thread said it, but it deserves mentioning again...how freakin bad is Holly right now that they pitch to him with 1 out and a guy on 3rd...yet intentionally walk Ronny with two outs? Do we have a kangaroo court (to match our kangaroo manager), in which each of these guys gets fined for not getting the runner home from 3rd...

    Couldn't make it. It took a real bad hop. get in front of it instead of trying to play it off your side then. I've got to go with Derrek on this one...he played it fine...it just took an awful hop.

    Macias leading off?? Seriously?? Does Dusty even have a clue what the little numbers under the guys name on the back of his baseball card are there for? Speaking of not knowing what things are there for...How bout Gerut??...if Hairston is hurt and can't go wouldn't it make sense to put out a good fielding solid obp guy? Does dusty think that just because we traded Dubois to get him that now he's got to treat Gerut just like Dubois? WTF does Murton have to do to play on consecutive days? Hit .240 and get on base at a .245 clip? Is there a rule we can't have our two best hitters next to each other in the batting order? What am I missing.... I'm starting to understand why everyone calls Dusty a "players" manager...he makes players happy...they just happen to be the other teams players.

    Possibly that we watch them more...or that I've seen Walker alone do it at least 3 times in the last 3 games. I'd think you should be able to get them in over 60% of the time...I'd say we do it less than 50%...just a guess.

    I just really enjoyed watching his at bats...he's the anti-Corey. If he gets behind he still makes the pitcher come to him...he knows the zone...and if there are two strikes he shortens his swing and puts the ball in play...its...what do they call it again?...oh yeah, fundamental baseball. He may end up being Bo Hart...but right now I'd take 3 more of him for the bench.

    AVG OBP SLG OPS .462 .531 .538 1.069 With numbers like this, doesn't even Dusty have to let him play a game or two against right handers....just to see...I mean...we could save a ton in prospects and $$, and have a stud OF if he'd knock even .150 off each of those numbers. And its not like the guy playing in front of him is earning his spot.

    I'm not someone who knows how to go figure out all these splits...but is it just me or does it seem as if we have to be absolutely the worst team in MLB in scoring runs in this situation? Does anyone know these numbers?

    I see Mr. Miles' time hear at NSBB has moved him up the decision chain of the Cubs organization... :D :D ...now if some one could just plant a bug in his ear about getting rid of Macias.

    I obviously realize the difference between the levels of ball...but I'm wondering, after this little stint at Peoria...assuming it goes alright...why not come straight back to Chicago? and if he doesn't...how long do people expect him to stay down? another week? two? I'm of the mindset that if he's able to play professional baseball...and has had a week or two taking swings in the minors, then he should be back with the Big Club...thoughts?
