    the Yankees fans are worse. at least Cards fans know something about the game. that curtain call was pretty lame though. they love their Poo-holes there. i was talking about the curtain call for Edmonds, who K'ed 3 times vs. Prior and then hit a solo shot (with the game all but decided) off a reliever. Pujols deserved a curtain call. That was clutch. some say Edmunds is a poo-hole

    The Cubs need a better backup at 3B than Macias with Ramirez and his injury problems. I would give Walker a chance in spring training to play LF and backup at 2B/3B. Sign Nomar to play 2B, Cedeno at SS. If Walker refuses then say goodbye via trade.

    give Greenberg and Murton a shot out of spring training, Cedeno if a SS isn't signed and let Pie and Sing start out in AAA. A lot depends on what free agents can be brought in. Or what trades can be made. Too many holes to fill.

    Plan A: Sign Giles. Start Murton in LF and Cedeno at SS. Plan B: Sign Nomar at SS, and see if Burnitz will take a pay cut to stay.
