    Okay...forgive me for my ignorance in this matter, but if Cuban made the highest offer, why wouldn't he be able to purchase the team? And furthermore, why does anyone other than the Trib (as the current owner) have any say in purchases the team? And, why would anybody even care if Cuban owned the team?

    I don't understand the point of breaking things becauase the Cubs are sucking it up right now. Why break something of yours when it'll do no good...it's not like you break something and magically the cubs pull a win out.

    At this rate, it'll have to be Cubs in 5...but I have my doubts. And that upsets me greatly. They just better put up a good effort in Chicago.

    If I chose to stay awake, I wouldn't have a problem. But, I have be up at 6 am tomorrow and won't be able to be come back home until probably close to 8:30 tomorrow night...so I haven't yet decided if I want to stay up. I tape all the playoff games so I necessarily need to watch it all. Different story on Thursday...I don't have to wake up til 10:30/11 on Friday. Damn straight I'll watch that entire game.

    If my math is correct, out of 2000 possible points, I only got 635. :oops: I sucked this year.

    Depending on game time, I might head over Saturday after work...but I work til 4 and have about a 3 hour drive. If there is a game 4, my sister and a friend probably will head to Chicago and catch the game at a bar. I'm down with going wherever you folks would be. Keep things posted.

    No, it's not. They can have Arizona, Philadelphia, New York or San Diego. For now, Arizona is the most likely. Thanks...that's what I thought but wasn't totally sure after reading the thread. I'm so excited about this post-season.

    Is it confirmed the Cubs have Arizona in the first round? I haven't watched any sports news today so I'm not sure.
