I spent over $400 at my local dive watching playoff baseball over the past 2 weeks. Now I'm pinching pennies for a few months to get myself on better financial footing. I'm out of sports watching energy. I've never cared as little as I do right now for Sooner football or Thunder basketball, and it's because of this Cubs playoff run. I think I'm just gonna be boring for a little while. Also, I'm shamelessly posting this to get closer to 108 pages.

More than not perfect, trying to use Chapman for multiple innings in game 6 is an objectively terrible decision, and it had dramatic consequences. However, Maddon is typically much better than that, and he also deserves credit for the resilience of the team. Can you imagine a Dusty Baker-led team coming back in those circumstances? A Dusty Baker team would have wilted in front of the Dodgers.

I still have my W hanging in the living room window, hung in front of the curtains. I have no idea how long it will stay up... Maybe until it's time to put up Xmas decorations? Till pitchers and catchers report? Might be the hardest damned decision I'll have to make over the next four months. Until we lose a game that matters again, which might be like 2022.
