Just about every lineup I see doesn't have Soler in it. Who does he get traded for? Can we make a trade for Mike Trout that makes us incredibly hateable because we win 115 games a year with a video game lineup?

Suddenly "Wait Til Next Year" has a completely different meaning. We're not saying it in a depressing, hopeless way. We're saying it in a cocky "We're the next sports dynasty" way. That's something to get used to.

i find the relief delightful I felt like the 2016 Chicago Cubs were baseball cocaine at times.

They do, and he will, without doubt. We've come a long way since the days in 2012 and 2013 when people were crying about the process. You should see the requirements for it. Either be above 70 or out of baseball for 5+ years.

good luck. I "tried" too. From what I've seen so far, I'm deciding between the shirt with the marquee on it, or the one with the roster on the back. I'm jealous of all of you that can do this.

A storm rolled through downtown OKC while Rajai Davis was rounding the bases, so I never actually saw him score. The storm knocked out the bar's satellite, so about 50 people crowded into a 250 sq ft bar, with everyone on their phones watching the top of the 9th through either MLB Gameday (like I was) or streaming. I seriously watched the top of the 9th inning of the greatest sports game I'm ever going to see through MLB Gameday on my phone, as if I was in my office following a Thursday regular season game. That's going to stand out in my mind as much as any event during this game.

Today I am the worstest of the worst. I'm too nervous and excited for tonight, and I didn't get to bed until like 1:00am last night because of watch partying.

This is our victory tomorrow night. The Chicago Cubs win the World Series tomorrow night, and I don't care about goats or curses anymore. Tomorrow this team becomes the Loveable Winners.

Too bad they don't get walk-up music on the road. It'd be pretty funny to hear an opposing player walking up to Bone Thugs in Cleveland. Schwarber has earned that right. -
I want run differential games against Tomlin and Bauer. Maybe Miller can throw 40+ pitches every game too. I'm also assuming Miller and Kluber have scheduled appointments with Dr. James Andrews in the offseason.

Very nice. Again, since Heyward can't hit, this is basically the new "Voltron lineup" that we were excited about in Spring Training. We got two games out of this in Anaheim.
