It was Barrett's walk that started this inning, I can forgive him for that DP. Horrible AB by Cedeno. Bunt aside, he's looked awful up there.

Hey, that Murton kid is pretty good. The great thing about watching the game on TV and listening on MLB Audio is that I get to see the action and then hear the call on radio due to the delay. I'm loving it.

I'm sure this has been mentioned umpteen times on this board, but Bill James and his wild statistical formulas took all the factors into consideration and says that this was the single most dominating pitching performance in the history of baseball. Not that I doubt you but where did you read this? Also the Gaetti fan club loves NSBB! http://www.stathead.com/bbeng/woolner/statglossary.htm Bill James' Game Score formula measures pitcher dominance in a particular game: 1. Start with 50 points 2. Add 1 point for every out (3 points = 1 IP) 3. Add 2 points for each inning completed after the 4th 4. Add 1 point for every strikeout 5. Subtract 2 points for each hit allowed 6. Subtract 4 for each earned run allowed 7. Subtract 2 for each unearned run allowed 8. Subtract 1 for each walk The top game score in the history of baseball is Kerry's 20k game with a score of 105. That game is more dominant if you convert that hit to an error (which it should have been...damn you Kevin Orie - and Ricky Gutierrez!) -

Saw it a few years ago. Actually, I was struck by about how much different baseball was back then when compared to today. Of course, times (and the Cub franchise) have changed.
