nah. he did pretty good to get out of that with 2 runs. bases juiced, bay up and no outs. :shock: he even got the GB on Bay, but it just found a hole in the IF. just luck. With the bases loaded and no one out, after a run scoring single, the pitching coach absolutely must go out and settle him down. Obviously, it worked out well in this case, but it's pretty silly for him to just sit there in that situation. If the pitching coach has to go out and settle him down in that situation he needs to back to AAA. After a double or a bomb then that is a different matter. He loaded the bases, then gave up a run scoring single... I don't see how anyone wouldn't want the pitching coach to go out in a situation like that. It's his second major league start.
