    Yes, a nice signing if your sights are on creating a .500 ballclub. World Series champs aim a tad bit higher. I'm not going to get into the whole debacle in the middle of the game, but Jacque Jones has played very well for the Cubs this year. He's hitting .280 and his current OPS is about 50 points higher than it was last year.

    Ball was hit weakly between the pitcher's mound and 1st base. Z would have had to turn and fire to get the out at home, but he missed the ball when he grabbed for it. Oh, I see. I was picturing a soft tapper back to him and that confused me. Thanks!

    Keanu Reeves has been in several successful moveis and has won a handful of awards, but he's still a horrible actor.

    So Womack comes in and goes 8-16 in his first four games as a Cub and he gets benched in favor of a guy who has a lower OPS than Womack does a batting average. Unreal. I freaking hate Dusty Baker.

    Someone said earlier that Nevin has caught in his career. Maybe Hendry got him to catch the bulk of the games that Barrett misses while he's suspended.

    He could be 10 for his last 10 and any trade that gets Tony Womack less playing time is still a good one. ...because Womack has been horrible with the Cubs so far. Because Womack is a good player over his career? He has Neifi written all over him. A couple more good games for Womack and Hendry will be hailing how he saved the Cubs this year while he gives him a 2-year, $5 million extension. I highly doubt that.

    Well, if he can hit lefties well then I think it's a good move.
