    This is great. The people who still love Sammy will (hopefully) get to see him hit number 600 against his former team. And those who hate him will have to (hopefully) watch him do it too.

    According to ESPN, it is not Marcus Giles, but Brian Giles that is being fined. It was Marcus in the infield, right? Was Brian even playing? http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2908417 That ESPN article is definitely wrong. Was Brian Giles even at the game? Why is it wrong? Why would Marcus, who did nothing but break it up, get fined? Brian was probably fined for coming onto the field while on the DL.

    Lee will miss 5 games for reacting to a baseball thrown at his face. Young will miss 1 game for throwing a baseball at Lee's face. Yeah, okay.

    Anemic? His OPS places is 7th best among AL rightfielders. It's nothing special, obviously, but to say it's anemic is just flat out wrong. He'll be traded for more than what we dumped him for.

    With the Rangers currently 17.5 games out of first place, their season is over. Will teams be calling asking about Sammy? If I were a betting man, I'd say yes. I'd honestly be pretty surprised if he finishes the season in Texas. The questions are, which teams will be calling? What will the Rangers be asking for? And, ultimately, where will Sammy be traded?

    Wow, Junior is having a great year. I'd love to have his bat in our lineup. What's the rest of his contract look like?

    Wasn't he dressing (changing his shirt) when the fight went down, and he was struggling to put his belt on? Yeah, but it's much cooler if you pretend like that wasn't the case.

    Z's been one of my favorites for a few years now. After the Barrett incident I was pretty upset with him and said some things that I didn't mean. I love Zambrano. One of my favorite memories was last year (I think) when he hustled down the line and beat out an infield single, then stole second a couple pitches after that. And who can forget that HR in '03 against the Astros.
