    Pie shouldn't be untouchable. This doesn't bode well for my hopes of making a big trade.

    Z strikes me as someone too competetive to tank after getting a contract, but that's just me. I'm not saying he'd tank if he received a contract tomorrow. What I meant was that given the choice between a pitcher who just received a huge contract, and one who is pitching to earn that huge contract, I'd rather have the latter.

    The Yankees are only four out in the Wild Card race... they're definitely still alive. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a serious run at the division title either.

    I'd rather Zambrano be pitching to earn a big contract in every remaining start this year than give him a fat one now, but I certainly wouldn't complain if he received an extension now.

    The Cardinals may have suddenly become buyers in the past two days. They're not good, but if they add a couple pieces before the deadline, you never know. Should be interesting to see what happens with them.

    That's why it pisses me off to see lard ass umpires. Get some guys who actually care about their body, and will as a result have the endurance to do their job.

    What was the score when they were taken out? 7-1, but it was the top of the 4th. Oh okay, well it's not like it was 10-0 in the 7th or anything. This could be why they were both removed, but I'm guessing not.
