    You guys probably don't care, but I just did a simple model on the sac bunt with the 5th hitter... Essentially, if you're playing for 1 run only, it's still 25% better to not bunt in that situation. Granted, that's not taking into account the conditions for today, which may have significantly reduced the chance of anyone getting a hit... but that only makes it a wash. It worked out fine today, but that doesn't mean it was a good decision. If it were the 8 or 9 hitter, with today's conditions... then I would get behind it, but if we can't expect our 5 and 6 guys to get hits, we need better 5 and 6 guys.

    He never committed to Oakland, it was bad info. Who wouldn't pick San Fran over Oakland if given the choice? I'm glad he'll have a shot, although I wish the Bears had given him a chance... but I'm a Stanford guy, I wish the Bears had picked up Tyler Gaffney.

    i loved it. I love fake punts in general, especially where they were on the field... but not in this situation. Pin them deep is also game over if they need 2 scores.

    Best 4th quarter with the lead the bears have had in I don't know how long. A little unlucky in some spots, a little lucky in others, but they got the job done.

    I think this is the hardest of the AFC West run. Coming out to Oakland won't be easy, but I was going to go to the game (bad news for the bears, of course) and I can't as I'll instead be out of town... so they dodged a bullet there.
