I understand what you're saying, but his offspeed stuff is good enough that he should keep it in the zone in that situation.

do you guys really think those pitches to marte were anything but intentional? the guy somehow took his once in blue moon walk and didn't chase one pitch after 0-2. tip your cap. Most of them I agree were intentional... but when he tried to get back in the zone, he was missing. Not that it really matters, we had to score more runs anyway... but I don't like managers leaving guys in to finish the fifth just because it's finishing the fifth.

seems like the pitch count is wrong... he had 2 pitches and 2 outs... and then struck the guy out on 3 pitches... how did he get to 6 pitches?

I don't think an obviously biased prediction is worth me giving, and I'm not really sure what to predict anyway... but I'm still far more excited for the game than I probably should be for a game in April.

That squirrel gif... I laughed a lot. It's really fun to be able to expect the Cubs to win every day. I know they will lose some games, but I think I will expect them to win every game for the next several years. And because that's more to do with the offense than the pitching... I think it's a rare thing in baseball these days. I expect to enjoy it... a lot... :clapping:
