  2. baker says that about cedeno in nearly every article. not so much about murton, though.
  3. you should stop throwing around accusations when you have no idea what the truth is. that's a pretty funny thing to say with your sig and all. It's pretty obvious Bonds has used steroids. Not so with Nomar. The amount of circumstantial evidence is infinitely greater for Barroid, than for Nomar. In fact I'd bet alot of money that Barroid has used and Nomar hasn't. you should stop throwing around accusations when you don't know what the truth is. you haven't seen bonds shoot up the same way you haven't seem nomar. just because you think nomar is a likeable guy and barry seems like a donkey's rear doesn't make nomar less likely to have used, it just makes nomar a likeable guy and barry a donkey's rear. i understand that barry LOOKS more likely to have used, but would you have figured felix heredia or some of the small time guys busted through testing would have used? be fair. anyone could have been using. anyone. i'm not making any accusations, just pointing out.

  5. yea. the sox scored on sac flies. thank you.
  6. i didn't get to catch the first couple innings. was that perez hr the first one hit in the game/season?
  7. That is a bit harsh. The title of the thread in transactions gives no indication of what the "joke" was. Do you look through all the threads, even those with topics that don't seem relevant to yours, before you post a new topic? it's still there, in transactions... and probably on the front page. it's not hard to look at the index, it should be the first page when you get to the message board. Carlos Lee for Murton, Hill, Guzman? just like that. does that seem relevant enough for you?
  8. please, this would go in transactions #1. #2, it's already been discussed and it was an april fools day joke. look around next time a little please.
  9. derwood, you get my vote for post of the year. if not of all time.
  10. NL WEST: Dodgers NL CENTRAL: Cardinals NL EAST: Braves NL WILD CARD: Milwaukee AL WEST: A's AL CENTRAL:Indians AL EAST: Boston AL WILD CARD: Toronto NLCS: LA over Milwaukee ALCS: Cleveland over Toronto World Series: Indians over Dodgers
  11. i think that would go in transactions.
  12. He got beat down pretty badly. He looked ok in the first until he went 0-2 on Giles. Then things fell apart. Singles, doubles off the wall, HRs to the moon, a wind aided cheapie and that's all she wrote. so did it seem like a 'he thought that he had it, then in thinking he had it, he lost it' sort of deal?
  13. ml ready + blah + 6 runs on 3 hrs = i don't understand.
  14. how was marshall tonight(without going through all the pages)?
  15. even after all the prospects from trades, let alone their own, i would think the marlins would be higher. and who do the dodgers have that's so good? i know arizona has some studs, but la?
  16. MVP?!? is the cat trying to shoot carpenter?
  17. Rumor has it he's in line for a pen spot. what rumor? LINK!
  18. sorry to be cliche, but it looks like neifi saved us. pierre is playing really badly, and though howry's era probably isn't bad, is he not giving up alot of hits and walks? eyre is pitching much better iirc.
  19. hmmm. hopefully the last sentence will work out for another team in the national league central that looks like that.
  20. go with the last one, imo
  21. [expletive] you're lucky. I get called out for s*** and this is allowed. If you're going to censor cussing censor CURSING too please. G** **** is much more abbrasive than s*** IMO. Sorry, religious rant. word.
  22. so, am i the only one that thinks that same fire is what makes him good more often than bad? as long as he plays like he does, i'll be okay with it. that kind of quality, occasional emotional breakdown innings included, is hard to come by - especially with the innings he puts up(knock on wood, no pun intended).
  23. A) 1. Alex Rodriguez B) 1. Adam Dunn 2. Albert Pujols C) 1. Carlos Delgado 2. Hideki Matsui 3. Jason Bay D) 1. Michael Young 2. Nick Swisher 3. Todd Helton 4. Adrian Beltre Bonus: Jim Thome
  24. has this tournament not had the most upsets ever?
