    In a perfect world, Ichiro. Then either Murton, Barrett or, if he continues to play well, Theriot at #2 with Soriano hitting 5th. Sadly, Soriano doesn't seem able to hack it hitting #5, or really anywhere except at leadoff. And they promised Soriano the leadoff spot when they signed him. But Jim had his fingers crossed so it doesn't count.

    I actually thought that article was funny. It makes fun of all the obvious jokes, both Bears and Colts-he wasn't trying to be really serious, so just go with the flow and enjoy it :D Watch it someone got in trouble for saying something like that before.

    I'm not sure Durant might not pass up Oden. You may have to "settle" for Oden at #2. Durant is just a freak. Agreed on Durant's talent level, but I don't see how you can pass up a big man like Oden when you find him. There are only 3 or 4 true big men in the NBA, and Oden has the chance to be the best of them in 3-4 years (he probably will be when Shaq retires or continues to wear down). Durant's unbelievable, but there are players like him that come out at the top of the draft every year or two. Who in the past few years do you compare to him? I think his talent level is a little better than a talent you see every 2 or 3 years. I would put him on the KG level. Plus who knows if he is done growing. He's 18 and could become a legit 7' talent. Plus they said last night he just found the weight room for the first time this year. Again I wouldn't be mad being a team sitting there with either pick.

Tough call but I think the 2 teams that get either one of these guys are going to be pleased. Durant has to POY at this point. Granted TT didn't have any one that could match up with him last night but I don't think there are too many teams that do. The Big 12 is going to be a tough out in the big dance. I remember when you guys used to be a football conference! Yeah I agree, the Big 12 is going to make some noise in the NCAA's. Matchups are always the key to winning it though. And I remember when the Big East had to earn the 5 spots in the tournament. :P Thanks to Eastern bias we get a guaranteed at least 8! Hey, you have 50% more teams in football so it's only fair we do it in basketball. When you have 32 teams that's not that great. :lol:
