Good article. I will say this, LSU hasn't played anyone as good as us this season. Our rushing attack is better, if not significantly better, than VTech. I still think it will be tough to hang with the Bengals, but we have the best chance of anyone so far.

Ditto. It will be dead till Dorrell is gone. The Florida game has caused me, for the first time ever, to seriously consider whether it's time to fire Phil Fulmer. There's been people wanting him gone for years now, but I've never bought into the argument. I may now. I thought UF would win the game, but the way UT lost shocked me. Maybe Phil has outstayed his welcome. When was the last time you won the SEC?

That is going to be a good battle as will our Thursday nighter here in a few weeks. Oh and I agree that S. Fla v. UNC is a top 25 mismatch. UNC is awful.

No he can't. He really really hates UGA, though I think he respects Mark Richt (and he should). I think this a year we can get them. There OL is struggling and they don't have near the front 4 they have had in the past. We'll see how it goes but if we win that game, we should be headed to UT in October at 7-1 (with a week 4 loss at LSU).

This discussion has gotten off track. You can argue who is the best OVERALL second baseman all day long. But its not even a question to me that Ryno, Robby Alomar and Bill Mazeroski were better defensive second basemen.

Same guy. EDIT - Whoops. That's what I get for not refreshing. This guy has a treasure trove of great stuff...may be my new favorite writer....one of his pleadings he sued about 400 people, including Scott Bayo and the Pope, (for manipulating the international monetary system I think)...that amused me to no end By far the best defendants were the Ming Dynasty, The Congolese Army and the Liberty Bell, followed closely by WKRP in Cincinnati.

Year Three of the Spurrier era is upon us. I am exciting about whupping up on ULa-La, but what I am really gearing up for is the matchup at UGA on the 8th. Its absurd how much I love football.

My Dad (the diehard Sox fan from birth) is livid. He just called me to vent. -
He's not elite, but the true elites are signing those $100+ million deals and Bulger is just a step below them. A lot of those 10/$110-115m deals were also signed 2-3 years ago, when the cap was smaller. Considering the inflation seen at other positions, this doesn't seem that far out of line for a guy who is good for a 90+ rating year in and year out. In addition, you won't meet a better guy. In the increasingly image conscious NFL, having a guy like Marc as the face of your franchise is a good thing.
