  1. Eh, Bama strikes right back so it is a wash. :P
  2. Did he sober up or what? Dude needs to hit it like Kyle Orton!
  3. JAIL BYRD, JAIL BYRD!
  4. Only fitting that the team that replaced IU on UK's schedule is the team that ends that Rupp winning streak.
  5. It would have been even better if the Spurs won that game last night and Stern still did this. The sad thing is that it's not even about that for Stern. As he said last night, he's mad that fans are buying tickets to see Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, etc and the Spurs send out their 2nd team. The fact that the Spurs were thought to have thrown the game is a just a secondary result. How is this any different than teams resting stars at the end of the year when they are locked into playoff spots? His argument is this is November and the Spurs havent clinched anything, but where do you draw the line? It's stupid....Stern is meddling way too much. Fans in Miami are buying tickets to see Lebron & Wade anyways. The dude that covers the NBA for Yahoo (Wojnaroswki or however you spell it) claims Stern has hated the Spurs for years.
  6. It would have been even better if the Spurs won that game last night and Stern still did this.
  7. How wide are the entrances to the Purdue football facilities?
  8. All this needs to cap it off is an Austin Etherington dunk.
  9. They lost to Bryant. Not even Kobe Bryant, just Bryant.
  10. NC State has kind of been dragging so far. Got beat down by Okie State then needed to rally hard to beat UNC-Asheville. Probably catching them at the right time.
  11. Kind of off-topic but funny as hell: http://deadspin.com/5963296/cedric-benson-is-moonlighting-as-dj-world-peace-playing-gigs-in-strip-clubs
  12. The people talking like that were raging meatballs anyways.
  13. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing... only use it on a fake field goal for a TD or something. Except Lovie would probably never go for something like that. Why not use it in a completely unexpected place? That's probably why it worked. Now 2 TDs and 1 pt conversions won't tie it up. Puts more pressure on 'em. You use it when it is open. They obviously were waiting for Minnesota to line up that way.
  14. Being undefeated and #1 is a tough gig, I might need a moment here. Okay, I'm good. :good:
  15. In fairness to Jeremy, he is playing out of position quite a bit due to the lack of frontcourt depth. When Perea, Jurkin and Elston return it should help put him in a more comfortable role. Cody has asthmatic bronchitis right now.
  16. They might lose by 30 at this rate.
  17. Yes, yes he did. :-k And both are absurd statements. Obviously you haven't seen Jordy dunk from the free throw line yet. It was so spectacular they had to burn the tape.
  18. Yeah, UCLA looked a mess last night. Which, considering the new players and the opponent, probably wasn't that surprising. He didn't have his best game or even score, but I still was impressed with Kyle Anderson. Georgetown will present a lot of the same problems for IU that UCLA would have -- they're big all over the court (though their execution is clearly at a higher level, of course). IU is not nearly as big or athletic as they will be when healthy/eligible -- I think they struggled with Georgia, in part, because of that and Georgia isn't good. Hopefully Hanner & Peter are cleared to play tonight. That will help in terms of interior depth.
  19. After the game Lovie pretty much admitted they did not even look at film of Kaepernick passing the ball and just assumed SF would run a lot. I don't think the defense was prepared at all for what the 49ers were going to do.
  20. I just wish the offense would start to improve and show some semblance of consistency as the season progresses. I just have zero faith on Tice at this point. I still think the Bears are a playoff team and they will be dangerous in January. But last night did shake my confidence.
  21. Texas lost to Chaminade? Man, even Crean's first team that went like 6-25 beat Chaminade. Who else is in this field? Illinois is up big right now.
  22. Yeah, we are screwed. UCLA is too tough. Wait... What an odd thing to say when he didn't even single out UCLA and just said "tomorrow." P.S. Told you guys UCLA was unlikely to beat Georgetown. Well he was peeing his pants about UCLA the other day. :P
  23. Look at it this way, at least it is Campbell absorbing all the brain abuse tonight instead of Jay.
  24. Sweet, fantasy points!
