  1. Only by your definition of close. And several other people in this thread. If serveral means one, sure... Alright, I'm done, I'm sorry you can't admit that you're the only one who thought it wasn't close. That ball ate Prada alive. I thought Hill might have been safe when I saw that.
  2. Have you been reading the same board that I have? I don't much denial at all here.
  3. For crying out loud Zook is reading the damn thing from a cheat sheet.
  4. I'm at the point that I'm not sure seeing more Murton is a good thing. I'm not impressed with him. Yes, I know that means nothing but hey it's the way I feel. :?
  5. It's more than "two frustrated players scrapping." It's a 26 year old man who has no control over his emotions and is clearly not a good teammate. I'm sure Barrett did something to add to the conflict. He seems to have a habit of getting involved in scraps albeit the previous ones did not involve teammates. I figure both guys share the blame. The question is whether or not this is something they can resolve and remain in the same clubhouse. If not....who goes? I'm not sure I really care at this point. :?
  6. Oh the humanity, two frustrated players scrap. I'm sorry but this incident doesn't outrage me at all. Deal out the appropriate discipline and move on.
  7. HAHAHA perfect. Thanks Eyre, thanks a lot for that. Never saw that one coming.
  8. Time for Juan Piere to rub salt in the wound.
  9. He needs to do it tonight! I need something entertaining to watch.
  10. I may as well become a Royals fan. At least they never get your hopes up. :?
  11. May as well tell him to stand there until he walks or strikes out.
  12. The Cubs are only 4 games back of Milwaukee in the loss column. Not bad considering the Brewers hot start and the Cubs up and down play. Let's finish this sweep and head out West with a .500 record. 8-)
  13. The fact that Detroit led the series 3-0 at one time means nothing now. All the Bulls have to tell themselves is win one at home to earn the right for a winner-take-all Game 7. I'm a Pacers fan and nothing would make me happier right now then to see the Pistons pull a 2004 Yankees impression.
  14. So Robert Horry gets a two game suspension but his flagrant foul helped bring about the suspension of Stoudamire and Diaw for Game 5. I'd say the Spurs are big-time winners in that exchange.
  15. The Cubs have an early lead? Awesome! They never lose when they score first......ah nevermind.
  16. Yep it's true. I remember hearing about it when it happened.
  17. WTF is Theriot doing there? Nice swing.
  18. Good to see Soriano ripping some jacks! Double for TheRiot!
  19. If the Cubs don't score here and end up going to extra innings again then I'm going to......well, I don't know. Go to bed probably.
  20. My ears are bleeding after that rendition of the stretch.
  21. Trade Jacquestrap now before he kills his trade value.
  22. Never fear, Len already is out to jinx him.
  23. It would be a grand time for a slam. Haha, I crack me up.
