  2. I feel pretty calm right now but that might be the alcohol talking.
  3. Just think if IU had last year's offense with this year's defense. :-o
  4. Feels good. Feels really good. I was a stupid ninny and turned the game off but turned it back on in the 9th. Never again. Go Cubs.
  5. So glad I had the foresight to take off work tomorrow. :stickman:
  6. That was pretty funny after he basically said stat nerds are the only reason he would be batting in that spot. TAKE THAT SMOLTZ.
  7. The impact of Tom Allen is real. Even beyond the stats, our defense passes the eye test this season for truly being improved. Certainly not perfect but we look much more organized and competent. I will be very disappointed if we can't grab 3 more wins out of that group of games you mentioned.
  8. Good for IU, they've had a lot of near misses against the good East teams and deserved one. ND still has played no one with a Power 5 win, but that will end next week because NC State toppled mighty Wake Forest today. That Wake Forest loss still pisses me off. We gave the game away with the -5 turnover differential. But getting a win against Sparty makes it all feel better, and now I am more optimistic about getting bowl eligible for a second straight season. That hasn't happened since the early 90's. Watching the fates of ND and Texas since that season opener has been amusing. Texas got that huge poll jump and has been sinking like a rock since then.
  9. Indiana does what Notre Dame could not do. Beat Sparty. :hello:
  10. The Bears are boring and shitty but at least there are some other teams in town that are decent so I can not stress too much about it. :flythew:
  11. I don't see any light at the end of this tunnel anytime soon.
  12. This team is 2nd year Trestman bad ahead of schedule. Even Trestman's 2nd year team wasn't this bad this early.
  13. LEAVE JAY ALONE YOU BIG MEANIE.
  14. Speaking as someone who's been lucky enough to root for a good team the last few seasons, yes, there is a lot of bad football. Watched the entire day's worth of games with my brother (mostly via Red Zone Channel) and yeah we both noticed as astounding amount of bad plays overall. Turnovers, penalties, drops, etc.
  15. All the better for IU. Hoping we can get 8-9 wins this season.
  16. Greetings from beautiful Fort Wayne, IN !! Go CUBS !!
  17. Looks like a solid 5-7 win team. Could maybe win 8. Meh.
