Josh Hamilton is a good story but of course, any good story will be beat to death by the media. That doesn't mean it isn't a good story anymore, it just means the media overkill might make a person gag. But I really can't see myself looking at the entirety of the Hamilton story and just saying "well who cares, he did it to himself anyways". True, he did put himself in the bad situation to begin with but good people can get drawn in by dark forces and when you have a very public example of an individual who managed to overcome a really bad situation and get back on his feet, it is a source of hope for others who are struggling with the same issues.
