  1. I dont really have a problem with this other than the fact I don't trust Lou to be patient with him, and hitting him 8th is a horrible horrible decision. Either put him 2nd or put him 7th and let Soto hit behind him.
  2. It would certainly lock in his reputation as the Nick Saban of college basketball. Apples to oranges. I would hate it for Kentucky if Calipari leaves and Kentucky faces potential sanctions. I will gave Saban credit for coaching in conferences where other good teams actually exist. The man can recruit players, then man can coach up those same players(not all coaches can recruit AND coach up players, just ask Les Miles), and the man can find legitimate good assistant coaches. Most important he wins the games he is paid to win, unlike Calipari. So again, apples to oranges...one man is worth the dough, the other....not so much. http://espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=290020333
  3. Then why are you still managing Lou?
  4. Just had a [expletive] off day on Monday, and yet Soto is on the bench for Hill. Unreal
  5. Man, I really really hate John Calipari, but there are quite a few very good reasons to try and get him to leave Kentucky for the Bulls. Lebron being the number 1 reason. Lebron is telling kids to go there, so you have to think if Calipari comes here, the Bulls shoot to the top of Lebrons list. Also the fact that Calipari is tied to World Wide Wes, who every star player seems to love, is another reason. Those 2 reasons alone may be enough to validate hiring Calipari, and thats without even mentioning his ties to DRose. Ugh I hate that slimeball, but he definitely would be intriguing as hell for the Bulls. With that said, I only see him leaving Kentucky if Lebron guarantees him he will sign with the Bulls if he does, so who knows how realistic it is.
  6. Haha I didnt want to look all ghettoish but I did think about that
  7. Im getting up at the ass crack of dawn to drive 3.5 hours to come watch this crap. It would be really nice if they got their head out of their ass and started playing some good baseball. Im really pissed I couldnt find a shirt with "Fire Lou" on it. I looked everywhere I could think to so I could wear it to this game but no luck.
  8. Because we will be so far out of it that nobody will care about the team? that was my thought as well. non-fred game threads will be about 2 pages long. Hell its only the end of April and we are having trouble getting double digit pages for game threads
  9. Because we will be so far out of it that nobody will care about the team?
  10. WHAT! All this time and Ive been thinking they were twins! I don't believe you, you are wrong
  11. Straight out. And I'm going Sunday, and that looks like the day we get [expletive] on :( Straight out at 25 mph that could be interesting. Looks like today could be even windier than that
  12. Another question, looks like the are calling for south/south west winds at almost 25 mph, is that blowing in or out at Wrigley?
  13. Yea the weather looks a lot better now than earlier in the week.
  14. That article has a bunch of words with saying absolutely nothing. It basically says, "Hey Cubs fans, the organizations top prospect is doing well in AA. He may be be called up to Chicago really soon, but then again he may not be, nobody knows. The people whos jobs it is to over see these things, are doing that, so stay tuned, but we don't know for how long." thus, the take it with a grain of salt comment Yea my post wasn't meant really towards you, just mainly towards wtf is the point of that article. It says nothing

  16. Yea lets bench them for Chad [expletive] Tracy and Xavier Nady, thats the answer. You do nothing and let them work themselves out of it. I have a bigger problem with 2nd base right now than 1st or 3rd.
  17. You can at least understand Lou's logic with a left handed hitter at the plate with a runner on second. But to snap at the reporter like he did for asking a reasonable question just makes him look like an ass hat who is already cracking Thats been how Lou has handled the media since he got here. Anytime he is questioned about his moves(and believe me its not very often) he snaps at the reporters and acts like Mr Tough guy so the reporter will shut up. The Chicago media has been scared of him ever since he really went off on 1 of the reporters who questioned him, and since then they have all went along with every little thing he says or does, with no questions at all. The Chicago media is so soft on him its unbelievable. The New York media would be ripping him apart the last 2 years, but not the Chicago media, they choose scapegoats on the team to blame the horrible excuse for a team.
  18. Are we trying to win or lose the game?
  19. Just sticky this [expletive] thread because this is going to be a daily occurrence with the idiot we have as a manager
  20. 4 straight [expletive] balls and Theriot swings 1st pitch lol
  21. Soto and Soriano on the bench and Lou pinch hits Chad [expletive] Tracy and Nady. [expletive] you Lou
  22. Sweet lets see how we screw this up. Chad Tracy better just be a damn decoy
