    Because how they play against the Pacers has litlle to no bearing on how they play vs those teams? Struggling against on offense against average defensive team doesn't show some kind of indication that they could struggle against really good defensive teams? Yes because how they have looked vs the Pacers in 4 games means more than how they looked for 82 games during the regular season. The Bulls have struggled with the Pacers all year, and consistently have played down to their level of competition all year. This series really means jack [expletive] in regards to how far the Bulls make it. There have been plenty of examples of #1 seeds struggling with the #8 seed and then winning it all. Win the series thats all that matters They struggled in one game against the Pacers in the regular season. They lost once to them, and almost every other game was close going to the 4th quarter. Still, this series means jack regarding how far the Bulls go.

    what i don't get is, how come you have this fetish for the brad snyders/micah hoffpauirs/scott lahairs of the world, yet you hate jr mathes? he's in his late 20s and occupying a roster spot just like those AAAA position players. Because its hard not to be excited by these guys OPSing in the 1.000s like its nothing, even though I know damn well that when they hit the majors they become, well, Micah Hoffpauir and Jake Fox. JR Mathes, on the other other hand just hangs out and is all kinds of mediocre. Pretty much everyone on the Iowa roster aside from Jackson, Carpenter, and Castillo, and to a lesser extent Smith, and Gaub can be given the old Crash Davis cliche, but its still fun to follow these guys when their mashing like this. And its hard to believe that at least one of these guys cant come to the big leagues and at least become Russell Branyan. Wouldnt you rather at least once give one of these guys a shot rather than scraping someone like Reed Johnson, Joey Gathright, or Daryl Ward out of the trash? Ever looked at the Iowa (and PCL) park factors? There's a reason why the hitters look great and the pitchers look lousy. Ever looked at your PM's?
