  1. Isn't any radar gun readings at Peoria stadium so I have no clue how hard he was throwing but seems like Jockish IA throwing harder. Simpson looks to have really good movement on his breaking pitch if he can throw it from strikes. Considering all the tine missed he may still be trying to get the feel for it I don't know.
  2. Currently at the chiefs game and let's just say Simpson has been less than impressive. Just gave up long solo shot to left field and just hasn't missed many at bats at all. Breaking pitch consistently has bounced in front of home plate.
  3. From a article talking about this years draft. Got to make you feel good if you are one of the players in the draft. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AvxrF6LCL8zY2grF3Or_F7A5nYcB?slug=mc-spears_weak_2011_nba_draft_awaits_lottery_051611
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/news/story?id=6553288 Cubs considering sending Colvin down.
  5. They shot 37.5% from 3, too. Also, Rose had one turnover in the last 44 minutes. Still, for the Bulls to win by 21 you'd think the Heat would have had to play terrible or the Bulls would have had to shoot lights out...and neither happened (OK, the Bulls shot 48% from 3 point range, but 42% from the field overall). Bulls shooting 48% from 3 doesnt surprise me with the looks they were getting out there. Seemed like almost all the 3s were wide open
  6. I imagine that's a tough read at field level being that close to the play. Anything in the air so far in the game has been getting knocked down and blown to right field, him being a CF'er he should have been able to read that one pretty easy Id think. I mean balls that are normal foul outs to the 1st baseman have ended up 10 rows deep in the stands.
  7. Koyie Hill, the 1 man wrecking machine.....for his own team
  8. He should've said, "holy [expletive] this guy sucks" Exactly!
  9. Quade making excuses for Hill, why am I not surprised.
  10. Not the 1st one ever, but 1st in something like 16 years or so
  11. Brett Jackson only expected to be out a week thankfully.
  12. Why? For playing the ball off the wall when he could have stood back against the wall and reached up to make the catch. Molina just missed a home run. If you're a shaky OF it makes much more sense to play the ball off the wall than making a futile effort to leap into the vines to try and catch it on a really sunny day. A normal Of'er catches that ball. It wasnt a very tough play. You read the ball off the bat, go to the wall and he wouldnt even of had to barely jump if at all to catch it. Soriano wants no part of the wall. Byrd made a catch earlier in the game by doing the same thing.
  13. Why? For playing the ball off the wall when he could have stood back against the wall and reached up to make the catch.
  14. Sighhhh. Bases loaded 1 out and they score zero. Seems to be the theme this year
  15. Seriously, where the [expletive] is this strikezone for Coleman?
  16. Simpson left with a "tight shoulder". www.pjstar.com
