  1. Padres just took a 1-0 lead over the Brew Crew
  2. Milw and SD scoreless thru 3 in a half.. Come on Padres!
  3. not really, 4 guys have put the first pitch in play. rich hill at bat versus a lefty pitcher with a nice curve... bit of a mismatch Rich Hill at bat is a mismatch
  4. Cant really blame Barret for that without knowing if Lou put the steal sign on. Never the less, it was ignorant
  5. There is a thread about it in baseball discussions aslo I Believe.
  6. I'm confident in the idea of the Brewers losing to Peavy and the Padres. I'm just not so confident in the idea of the Cubs beating the Dodgers. Oh yea I forgot about that part of the situation lol
  7. Got to like the chances of the Brew Crew losing today going up against Peavy. This game could put us 4 back and as bad as we have played Ill take it. Lets go Peavy show them your Cy Young stuff. Suppan is goin for the brew crew
  8. It is just a scheduled off day for Aram, and in his career he hasnt hit Wolf very well at all.
  9. Thanks Bruce that was right on cue lol.
  10. Wow this uses up Reyes last option too. This is a pretty dumb move.
  11. Just because Samrdzjias numbers dont look overwhelming, it doesnt mean anything. The Cubs have told him they want him throwing his changeup over 50 percent of the time in his starts so he can get the feel for it and use it as an effective pitch. They know his fastball and breaking pitch are above average, they just want the changeup to get there as well.
  12. I think Nolasco is on the DL, at least last time I seen he was.
  13. Why cant Lewis play center? He would be the tallest player on the court, and I really dont expect Noc to be back, but I might be wrong. Ill be honest I havent seen a lot of Lewis, but his numbers are pretty damn good. He's 215 pounds according to espn.com. That is a skeleton at 6' 10". He's got a reputation as a no defense-soft player that I've seen when the Bulls play the Sonics. He also shot 38.5% of his shots from behind the arc last year. He's Peja Stojakovic. Wow I couldve sworn he wasnt that skinny when Ive seen him play. Ok so what other big men are out there besides Randolph, outside of the draft?

  15. The Bulls can only offer him their MLE unless it's a sign-and-trade. The Bulls are over the salary cap but under the luxury tax. 1908, do you think there is any chance the Bulls go after Lewis? Is it feasible? Why do we need a small forward who isn't a post player who doesn't play defense and will cost a ton of money? I'm missing something here. Hes 6 10 and averaged 22 points a game. I would think if you pair him up with Ben Wallace and Tyrus his defensive shortcomings would be a little less evident, and the money part is because we need a big man who can score which Lewis can do, the only way we are finding a person like that for the "cheap" is the draft. And I really dont think outside of Oden or Durant, none of these other big men in the draft are going to make a big impact.

  17. Why no Pie tonight? Just a night off or something wrong?
  18. Thats kind of expected when you are told to throw changeups more than any other pitch. His numbers dont mean much as long as he learns to throw the changeup for a quality pitch on a consistent basis.
  19. I don't believe we'd have the money to sign him. Is there anyway we could do some sort of sign and trade with the Sonics? I remember the Pacers doing a sign and trade with Harrington last year with some sort of exception. If so, is that a possibility for us? I don't understand most of the financial part of the NBA. But yes, Lewis would be an excellent player to add to the team. Im not too sure either about the financial part either. 1908 and others know a lot more about that than I, but I might be willing to package the 9 pick with maybe Noc(sign and trade) and see if that could get him. I think Lewis would be a perfect fit on this team.
  20. Im not to sure about that. Lee has the green light to run when he wants to from everything Ive read, so I really dont believe Lou had the steal sign on but we really dont know.
  21. give me a break. He pitched to one batter, pitched him pretty tough and ended up giving up a ground ball up the middle. Howry was the real culprit... he really has to get his act together or he and Eyre will be Useless #1 and 1A. Its his job to pitch to one batter and get that batter out. He threw slider after slider after slider and gave up a hit. He didnt do his job once again when called upon.
  22. So Rashard Lewis has officially filed for free agency. Any chance the Bulls take a run at him? 6'10" and averaged 22 points last year he could be that low post scorer and then draft best player in draft or trade. Any chance?
  23. Doesnt matter they will find some other dumbass way to lose tomorrow.
  24. seriously screw this freaking team. screw lou screw the bullpen screw the offense(minus the one inning) and especially screw Jim Hendry
