    Yup that contract sure looks like a disaster right now huh? 1 start 5 ip wow...After all my Card fans friends have given me crap about Wood and Prior though, I sure as hell dont feel sorry for the Cards, and keep tryin to tell myself not to laugh, but its hard.

    How so, by trying to step on first base? Looked to me like Morris's foot was in the middle of the bag... WOW you dont see that everyday, damn these Giants suck Their upper bodies collided. It looked like Floyd was running well within the baseline though the view on the Giants broadcast wasn't the best. It didn't look like Morris was in the baseline at all. Hmm I dont know but from what I seen it sure seemed like Morris was standing on the middle of the bag. They collided right at the bag, but oh well no big deal.

    Haven't we beat you 4 of 6? Didn't Kyle Loshe throw 8 shutout innings and K you 12 times? And where are the Reds now? Getting swept at home by a team that's 15 under .500 is pretty pathetic. You'll get your turn. Playing pretty well without Naroon if I must say. LOL Just in case you havent noticed the Cubs are playing pretty decent. So decent they have the best record in baseball over the last month, but hey keep up with your "playing well" lol

    Do you consider .281 BA .341 OBP for a SS and .297 BA .370 OBP for a RF, well below average? Perhaps your standards are a bit high? Look at the numbers. The Cubs are at or near the bottom of the league at C, RF, SS and CF in terms of OPS. It has nothing to do with high standards, it's a straight up comparison to every other team in the NL. Whats our RF's slugging? Thats why there is an upgrade needed

    Supposedly Demp threw 12-13 pitches with 1 strikeout. He will now pitch tomorrow, and probably then be in Wrigley for the series vs the DBacks

    Wood is supposed to rest today, and then throw again tomorrow. Then he will rest Friday, and throw again on Sat. He will then fly back to Chicago for the bowling event, and they will decide from there what to do.

    I haven't been following the game thread until now, but if people are laying that on Kendall, they're being simply ridiculous. short hop on a throw from Soriano. Yea its stupid of us to expect a major league catcher to come up with a short hop. If Soto had done it, not one word would have been uttered. Riiiight, and you know this how? Hey, I'm not a fan of the Kendall acquisition at all, but I've been around NSBB enough to know what I said was true. There are arbitrary favorites (like Dubois when he first came up) that get alot of slack. That's all I'm saying. I have no problem with the Kendall trade, but its a play that should have been made, and I believe it would have been brought up no matter who the catcher was.
