  1. And yes there are some areas that need upgraded, but every team could always use an upgrade, but they guys we have on our D are solid. Question marks being safety, and Tommie Harris, everybody else is at least league average or better at their position on defense. I dont think you understand how much better the D could be just from not being on the field ALL the time.
  2. I hope they are not done upgrading the line. In particular, I'd like to see them still look at tackles. I don't feel like we know enough about Williams yet and I don't trust Pace to stay healthy. If Angelo is going to ignore one side of the ball in the draft I hope he ignores the offense, but of course I don't think he'll ignore the draft. I would still expect better players in rounds 1-3 than rounds 4-7 though. I disagree. We have Pace, Williams, Schafer, and Omiyale. More than fine. not only do we have them, but we have beekman, garza, buenning, draft pick on the bench. while those names aren't anything special as starters, they're experienced lineman that give us excellent depth. the line is an area of strength this year, so we can stop pretending like it's still a weakness and actually now focus on the weaknesses. jeez, we patch a hole that has existed since the 1950's andpeople are still complaining. if we upgraded the defense, people would be whining about the quarterback and offensive line. come to think of it, we've upgraded the offensive line, greatly, and people are still complaining about it. You're probably right, but the problem is that there are a lot of areas in need of an upgrade and in upgrading quarterback it has become a lot more difficult to upgrade those other areas of need. I do appreciate that Angelo has actually done something big this offseason and I hope it works out even if I have my doubts. Please tell me where there are "a lot" of areas that need upgraded? I think you are looking wayyyy to deep into last years defense, instead of keeping it in perspective a little. The D wasnt very good last year, but they have been very good in the past and its not like all the guys on D suddenly got old. They had a bad year, and had a [expletive] for a D coordinator. We have Marinelli who many NFL guys and players regard as the best DLine coach in the game.
  3. Ok I was proposed this trade tell me if Im wrong for thinking its absurd. I trade Jose Reyes Travis Hafner I recieve Jhnony Peralta Bobby Jenks Chien-Ming Wang Im short on closers but am I wrong for thinking Im better off with Reyes?

  6. Sorry to hear that man. This market sucks for all of us. :( Yea working in the manufacturing business with Caterpillar, and the automotive industry as your biggest customers is not a good combination right now.

  8. You're dead to me. ETA: Sorry to hear the bad news though. Heh hey Its rough rooting for UNC but 50 bucks is 50 bucks. About the bad news thanks, it sucks, but right now Im looking at it as a little vacation, but boredom is going to kill me I think.
  9. Ok Im torn....I hate UNC, but if UNC wins the NC I win 50 bucks. Since I just got laid off yesterday, guess we know which way Im leaning.
  10. Im sorry but the "Big Ten honks" deserve to come out and talk some [expletive]. The Big 10 has been killed by every major sports journalist/tv commentator, and fans of all other major conference. Everybody all year wanted to kiss the Big Easts ass, and yet the Big Ten Champ manhandled the Big East Champ in Louisville, and took it too UConn. Plain and Simple. BIG EAST KILLERS! :D
  11. Ohhh Diggger where areeeee youuuu?????
  12. Ok now I dont feel so bad about laughing at the little girl. Oh wait or are you talking about Thabeet crying?HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  17. Heh Thabeet "hurt" cant shoot free throws, so we will put the guy who is 14-14 for the tourney up there haha
  18. Foul on MSU oh my God
  19. Break the damn press Spartans
  20. Soccer, this MSU team has gotten better all year. Its obvious they are playing their best basketball of the year, and their confidence is at an all time high. I think UNC would win, but I have a feeling MSU would give them a hell of a run.
  21. Come on MSU stay composed and finish this thing! My oh my, I bet Digger Phelps is crapping his khakis right now
  22. More irony than Calhoun crying about no foul being called?
  23. MSU MSU MSU MSU MSU MSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. No jump ball? serioulsy??????
  25. Those are two different seasons, though, and I'm assuming some of the players were different. The only difference this time is Suton is there. The other difference is that its a completely new ballgame too which is a pretty big deal. Add in the fact that its for the National Championship, in MSU's backyard, I could see them making up the difference. Like I said Illinois beat Mizzou by 30 or so on a "neutral" court early in the season, I dont think there is a chance in hell that would have happend again around tourney time. Yes its tough to make up a 30 point difference, but the next MSU-UNC game starts 0-0 so that 30 points is meaningless. The first game was in MSU's backyard and that didn't seem to matter at all. And Illinois won by 16 (though they were up by 20 for a little while) over Mizzou the first time. Illinois was up by more than just 20 for awhile and it was also in Mizzous backyard.
