  1. If 6'1" Eddie House can toss Miller like that, then his complaining isn't the problem. I knew you were going to say something like that
  2. 1908 always lurking during these games, but he never speaks in here :D
  3. Eddie House complaining after throwing Miller
  4. Hinrich get your pathetic ass off the court
  5. Get that weak [expletive] out of here
  6. Yeah, Harlan is a lot worse than I remembered. He keeps trying to add character, and it's just painful. Understand why you are SSR, but Flames why are you watching TNT?
  7. Especially an Illini fan and a Cubs fan, where the hell do the Celts fit into this picture? With the championship rich history of the Cubs and Illinois basketball, the Celtics seem like a natural fit. Yea but you were growing up in the 90s Bulls era, how could you pick the damn Celts? They were competing with Dino Radja, what was I supposed to do? :D It mustve been hell growing up in Chicago in the 90s as a Celts fan

  17. Turner has only been a Bears OC in the NFL. And he's had limited success, if any. He's yet to develop or contribute to the development of a good NFL QB. And his offenses are usually bottom half of the league. I agree he hasnt done anything to contribute to develop a good NFL QB, but he has had a QB with alot less talent than Jay Cutler put up some very impressive numbers in 1995. Yes its 14 years ago, and Turner leaves alot to be desired, but Im willing to give him a chance this year with a true NFL Qb. Yeah, he coaxed one good year out of Kramer, nice, he also coaxed half a good year out of Rex and half a good year out of Orton. That doesn't make him a quality NFL offensive coordinator. If he was really any good, he probably would have been persuaded to join a team with an actual NFL offense by now. I agree, and thats why I said he has this year to prove what he can do with a real NFL QB. He hasnt had alot to work with in Chicago, but he also has done alot of stupid playcalling to, so we will see what happens this year.
  18. If he stepped back into the batter's box after being called out on strikes, I think people would have whined even more than they did. This "incident" took seconds. You know what I mean. Bradley has a history of over-reacting and not maintaining control of his emotions like a normal adult. (Yes, I know, professional baseball players are not normal people.) Or are we just going to accept this as "Milton Bradley being Milton Bradley"? Im accepting it as "Every player on the team in that situation, would have argued in my opinion" but it just happened to be Milton.
  19. Kevin McHale in 1986 after Michael Jordan dropped 49 on the Celtics in Boston in game 1: MJ scored 63 the next game. And lost. How can you have such good taste in baseball and college basketball, but yet have such terrible taste when it comes to pro basketball? :D

  21. Im not a Turner supporter at all, but Turner has been successful in the NFL. Erik Kramer put up some pretty damn good numbers while under Ron Turners offense.
  22. Yea my Celtics fan friend was saying the same crap. "D Rose had the game of his life and it still took OT to beat us", and blah blah blah. Nevermind that Rondo basically had the game of his life too, and the Bulls shot 17% from 3 point range for the game. Salmons and Gordon really never got their offense going the entire game, and it took Tyrus till OT to do anything. The Celtics may not have played very well, but honestly, the Bulls didnt play all that great either. Celts fans need to realize they arent the same team without KG, and this is now 2 games in a row the Bulls have beat them without KG.
  23. Ok thanks, any particular reason to avoid those places? Like I said Im going with a group of Stl fans, so if they want to go to one of those places I need a good excuse not to. Any places down there you'd recommend to eat at also?
  24. You can try in get the first pitch tickets Saturday morning. They start selling the tickets at 9 AM the day of the game. It costs $11 for a voucher for 2 tickets. You have no idea where your tickets will be until you enter the stadium. You'll probably want to get in line a couple of hours early, and you'll probably end up with SRO. At least you'll be in the stadium though. I'll be at the game Friday for sure, and might stop by Saturday and Sunday after the start of the games and see if I can scalp some cheap tickets. Anywhere you'd recommend to watch the game at? Ill be the only Cubs fan amongst 4 other damn Cards fans. Looks like the weather is going to be perfect down there this weekend. Where are you going to be? By the stadium or will you be more mobile? I believe our hotel is within walking distance of the stadium. Its on St Charles St. Would prefer to stay on foot, or cab(or any other public trans) . My group of guys going with me range from 29-33 in age if that helps.
