  1. Lane violations are always shady. I'm pretty sure technically every FT has a lane violation. Kirk Hinrich, my gosh. Yea thats my thing with the lane violation, it could be called on every free throw, but yet they decide to just call it against the Bulls at this moment.
  2. Lane violation? A freaking Lane violation in the NBA? Are you kidding me?
  3. F these refs this is ridiculous
  4. I don't notice that prices are any higher than other places. The beers are cheaper at Wrigley, but it memory serves the cups are smaller. As for it being cramped, I agree. They definitely got every seat in there that they could. And no advertising possibility was ignored. Just like the old place, there are ads everywhere you look. I guess most places are that way now, it just seems like they take it to the extreme. The beer was 16oz which is either the same as Wrigley or smaller. For 7.75 thats crazy. But even the "hot dogs" and other food were pretty ridiculous.
  5. Ugh, although Ive got confidence in BG trying to play. They guy took a shot at half just to be able to finish the last game, so if there is any way he can play he will.
  6. So when Hoff has a bad day in RF he gets thrown under the bus and banished from playing there again, I doubt same thing happens to Fontenot.
  7. Ok thats it, call Fox up my God.
  8. Ok this is a couple days late since I was in Stl all weekend, but maybe someone else can answer me. On Saturday, why did Lou pitch to Brian Barden with runners on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out with the pitcher on deck and Brendan Ryan in the hole? We have had trouble getting Barden out all year, and the pitcher is on deck, wtf Lou. I was sitting in the stadium just amazed that Lou decided to pitch to Barden who surprise surprise, hits a 2 RBI single. Seriously I think Lou is asleep so far this season.
  9. Gotta love Lous infatuation with L/R/L and puts Reed Jonson hitting cleanup vs a righty instead of Hoff. Oh and Im sick and tired of CSN+ games already
  10. Yea I had a blast this weekend in St Louis, minus the whole game thing on Saturday. Got to Stl Sat afternoon and we walked up to the ticket office at like 1 30 and we were able to get 5 tickets in Sect 237 Row 2 for $48 bucks. I was shocked. 1st time inside the new Busch and I liked it for the most part. Prices are absolutey criminal inside that place though, and the seats are awfully cramped. The view from the seats were very good though, and the people around me treated me pretty good even though I was the only Cub fan in the area. I dont know if its just a 1 time thing, but seems like they need to hire some more beer vendors. We were sitting for over 2 innings(long innings) waiting for a beer vendor to appear. Ive never had that problem at Wrigley. After the game we went to Sho-mees(sp) and the food was fantastic, as well as the uhh view :D The fries at that place are unbelievable. Beer prices werent bad either, we got a 34oz draft(Miller Light) for 7 bucks. Not bad considering we paid 7.75 for a 16oz beer inside Busch. After we ate we went down to the Landing and went to a bar called Big Daddys. We had a blast here. Lots of people, lots of women, and plenty of alcohol. Had a real good time all night, except for 1 of the bars telling me my shorts were too long so I couldnt pass their dress code. Pretty stupid I had cargo khaki shorts on and they were bout even with my knees but whatever. Overall for my 1st time in Stl in well over 10 years, I had a blast and will definately be going back again.
  11. Ive heard that means its a torn ACL...
  12. It's been humid in the mid to upper 80's the last two days in Columbia, I imagine it's pretty similar in StL. Was mainly wondering if it was raining/storming down there, I see they are calling for isolated storms all weekend.
  13. He's been caught stealing twice. Every game? I think he's talking to Lou, not just Theriot. Players are running into outs just about every game. They have 7 CS on 14 attempts, and they've made numerous other baserunnings gaffes. Yes exactly what I was talking about. Either Lou needs to start giving the red light to these guys, or somebody needs to tell Lou that he doesnt have the fastest and/or best baserunning club here, and to just stop with the steals.
  14. Meph wrong? Well color me [expletive] shocked
  15. It wouldnt. Paul Sullivan has had nothing but negative stuff to say about him since he signed with the Cubs, and that little mole will always try making a story. If Im Bradley I dont talk to the media all year, screw them he owes them nothing. Urlacher hasnt talked to the media, and they pretty much just go with the flow, and dont constantly harp on it, but my guess, the same wont happen for Bradley.
  16. So what's the problem here? You really dont see the problem? Basically because of Lous knee jerk reaction(again) we are going to get to see Reed [expletive] Johnson face right hand pitching everyday. Hoff made some mistakes, big [expletive] deal, our offense has scored 1 god damn run in the last 18 innings and our manager decides to throw Hoff under the bus for bad defense. Give me a [expletive] break [expletive] Drunk posting for the win for me
  17. Really? Yes really. Look at how the Bulls have played at home lately. They are 8-1 against their last 9 playoff teams at home. 14-2 overall in their last 16. They are a different team at home, and the UC will be rocking. Really? Also, what the hell do former playoff games have to do with this year? Boston has better basketball players. Reading is comprehension. Who the hell said a damn thing about former playoff games? Read the damn sentence again and if you cant figure it our, then ask someone for help, its not that difficult.
  18. No kidding is a 3-31 ERA better than a 3.31 era? Damn Cardinals are making up their own numbers for their stats now wtf. :D

  20. Maybe it has something to do with Geo has had alot of "loud" outs lately while Lee keeps grounding out weakly to the left side.
