That decision made a little more sense. I think Kosuke was going to bat for either Freel or Miles in the 9th to face Capps but the freak injury changed all those plans. Of course, Kosuke should have taken the at-bat in the 7th and Z should have already have been used in the 5th, so there were definitely still major errors made. Let Fuku lead off and try to get on base then use Font for Miles or Freel

Good to know we got Ascanio and Z an at bat but Font and Fuku are well rested after not seeing the field.

Yea and lets not forget letting Ascanio bat with a runner on 2nd, and then pulling Ascanio out of the game, for Cotts. If you are going to use Z as a ph, that would have been the time early in the game, not in the 7th [expletive] inning of a 2 run game
