    Not sure why you stopped at Soriano, because Soto could be the best number 7 hitter in the league.

    I really dont know why Lou even talks sometimes. He said the other day that ARam would slide into the cleanup spot behind DLee when he returned. Well apparently the cleanup spot is now the 5 hole.

    For the 1st time in a long time, I can actually say, "Good decisions were made by the Cubs today". Also this leaves Shark here who if we have a short outing again can be sent down and call up another arm, I got to say Im pleased.

    Well if thats the case Goony, and Ricketts doesnt trust Hendry with money to make smart moves, shouldnt the 1st thing he does is fire the GM?

    So it sounds like no large salaries will be added this year.     Yes, I would like this as well. Let Lilly open up the series with Stl, and let Harden go on Sunday so if he burns thru the pen, its right before the break. Id start Harden in game 2 of the DH, and plus the way Lilly has pitched at Wrigley I want him starting the biggest series of the year.

    Even with the DH on Sunday they can still go to 11 pitchers. If they have a short outing by a starter and the bullpen gets taxed, then DL Patton, and call up a fresh arm. The best thing for this team right now is to send down Fuld, Hart, and Shark.

    It sucks we cant gain ground on both teams this week. I wouldnt mind seeing Stl take 2 of 3 with a Cubs sweep so we can pass the Brewers, and then take care of Stl ourselves heading into the break.

    Great Ill be there for Fridays game, at least Harden should be nice and rested after Saturdays wonderful outing.

    Apparently the Bulls are thinking about bringing back Jannero Pargo. He played last season overseas. Not a big deal, but he does have some value as a scorer off the bench.

    Blanco is out of options. I think we will see Fuld, Hart, and Shark go down. If something happens where a starting pitcher has a short outing and our bullpen gets taxed, then they DL Patton, and call someone up.

    Lou has said ARam is hitting cleanup behind Lee when he gets back. Personally, I wouldnt mind seeing this lineup although I doubt Lou would do it. Fuku Bradley Lee ARam Sori Soto Theriot Font Pitcher With Theriot and Font able to be flip flopped, although Im really wishing Sori could play a competant 2nd base and put Fox in LF hitting behind Soriano.

    Yup, 1 game is definitely enough to draw long term conclusions, especially if that one game finds you down 7-0 before the 2nd inning is over. I know you know better but I had to snarkily rely to that statement. Well I figure if people can suck off Sam Fuld from 2 games and claim hes the "spark" then I can deem the moving Soriano down in the order a failure after 1 game.
