    We don't really need a lefty in there and it's a bad decision to have Marshall be that lefty when he is a decent starter. Especially with an injured Dempster. Well Samardzija has been pretty bad out of the pen and pretty good as a starter in Iowa so he should at least get a shot. On the other side of the coin, Marshall's been better out of the pen than in the rotation. Again, if they were planning on starting Shark, why wouldnt he be getting the start tomorrow instead of Hart?

    Exactly thats my thing, unless its really about the DH on Sunday and them not wanting to start Shark twice, which makes no sense.

    Why in the world would the Cubs have Zambrano start on short rest? Why not just pitch Hart tonight and Z tomorrow? Maybe they cant get Hart there tonight? I dont know

    If they manage to split a 3 game series, color me impressed. It really doesnt matter who wins as long as we win, but Id like to see Stl win tonight so we can at least tie Milw, since you cant get to 1st, without getting to 2nd first. Then let Milw win the next 2, and let us take care of Stl on our own this weekend, and root for the Dodgers to take care of Milw, and we then go into the All Star Break in 1st place.

    So whos to blame for this ridiculous nonsense that has continued to be written about, and talked about by fans, that Soriano only wanted to hit leadoff since he got here? Media members and some fans have constantly said it, yet Sori has said the exact opposite since he became a Cub. Its absurd, and Sori has consistently said hes 100% about the team, and if the team is winning, thats all he cares about.

    Gregg has looked decent for the most part, but I always have an irrational fear when it comes to white relievers. I dont know what it is. This has to be a joke right?

    If we can score 4 runs in the 1st 2 innings tomorrow Ill be happy. Jurrjens is a good pitcher, you cant expect to knock him out in the 2nd inning.
