    You keep asking us why that is. Why do YOU think it is? Because Z has had success in the past, and the team overlooked it, because hes the "face of the Cubs". The Bradley suspension was to appease the fan base and get the attention off Hendry and the underperformance of this [expletive] team this year. Now Hendry can place the blame on chemistry and injuries as to why this team underperformed. Hell the groundwork has already been laid, and Ive seen it in a couple articles today"the Cubs are now 2-0 without Bradley" and Lou saying the clubhouse was alot more upbeat and looks like they are having fun. Give me a [expletive] break

    This is all kinds of ridiculous. Bradley is a prick who did this to himself why can't you accept this and stop pretending he's worth defending? Explain to me how anything Bradley has done is more of a dick than punching your own teammate, throwing tantrums on the field when your defense makes errors and showing him up, throwing at opposing hitters because you are pissed, getting into a verbal argument with your manager on the field, letting yourself get out of shape which landed him on the DL. Do I need to go on? Bradley is a dick, but we have had bigger dicks on this team who have done alot more and alot worse, and have never received punishment.

    You don't think there's an actual reason they suspended Bradley and not Zambrano? Or do you think they just did it on a whim? I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here. That Zambrano gets unjustified preferential treatment over Bradley? I think his point is that people are acting like Bradley eats babies from his actions in public. Exactly. The hatred shown to Bradley is ridiculous considering the same people talking [expletive] about him, have Z as their favorite player. Z has done ALOT worse than anything Bradley has done as a Cub, and has NEVER recieved a suspension from the team. Seems kind of odd to me.

That Zambrano gets unjustified preferential treatment over Bradley? My point isnt very hard to see. Z has been a childish dick since he became a Cub, and his past is pretty damn checkered, yet he can say "I want out of here", "Im tired of this", etc...and nothing happens to him. Why?

    Can someone explain to me how Bradleys comments he was suspended for are worse than these of Z's? I hadnt even seen these comments made by Z, but after now seeing them, added into everything else hes said and done as a Cub, I really dont see how Z keeps getting away with what he does.

Sits back and waits for the "but DeRosa has over 20 hr's and Bradley was brought you to be a run producer" crap. Well one plays multiple positions for a whole lot less money than the other. The comment was "DeRosa has been better than Bradley this year, the money is a non factor in that statement, and the multiple positions is a benefit, but it doesnt make the statement true.

    The question is: what would be the purpose of that? If indeed Bradley refused to play when asked to, such a grievance could backfire easily. And the fact that the Cubs are probably still going to pay him during the suspension. It seems to me that they were doing him a favor by suspending him and not placing him on the DL, due to the clause in his contract regarding his option vesting in 2011. The union wants to make sure he does get paid, which its been rumored they're considering not doing. Im sure the union also doesnt want a precedent to get set either.

    Are you Michael Barrett's cousin or something? What did Zambrano do to you to hate him so much? Sure, he's immature, does stupid things, and overall seems pretty self-centered. But Piniella has aired him out in public too, and his actions have all come during the game, which isn't surprising since he's so competitive. There's clearly more behind the scenes than we all know about regarding Bradley. The fact that no teammate even attempted to defend him speaks volumes, and it has nothing to do with them being "afraid" of Hendry. Ha I dont hate Z at all. Im trying to be realistic in this and pointing out how Bradley is being made a scapegoat. Big deal Lou aired him out in public, he didnt suspend him did he? And thanks for making my point, Z gets overlooked for being "competitve" while Bradley gets called a dick. Z punched a damn teammate on the bench and didnt get a suspension, if you dont think thats worse than Bradley saying something, than your hatred for Bradley has completely clouded your judgement. Are you really that naive to think that if the players wanted to defend him they would? Bradley just got suspended for making comments, and everybody knows he wont be with the team next year, why in the hell would a guy risk his job by speaking out against Hendrys decision? Come on

    How is that his own teammates have basically called him a douche if they really didn't feel that way? His teammates let him have it. This is not some conspiracy agains't poor Milty. Yea Im sure Cubs players feel real confortable coming out and defending him right now. Yea that will sure earn you praises from Hendry. LOL! Like they couldn't say: "No comment". It's astounding people are defending him. Bradley tried the "no comment" thing, and his manager and GM jumped his ass for it.

    I dont think anything he said deserved being suspended for. do you think there may possibly be some "behind the scenes" incidents that we aren't privy to though? I sure hope so. Joe Sheehan pointed this out... "the last non-drug-related suspension of this length was Albert Belle's, and he threw a baseball at a fan who was heckling him from the stands." For a few comments at the media to spark such an action? It's absurd. People haven't been suspended this long when they've been accused of beating their wives. Yea thats my point Im getting in this. Even if there is behind the scenes stuff, there has been alot worse done by Cubs in front of the cameras that didnt garner a suspension. Yet somehow this does? Its BS and I really hope Milton and the MLBPA files an appeal and wins. This just sets a terrible precedent.
