You absolutely can't go 2-3 against teams that are probably going to be 1-20 against all of the other teams they've played this year (4-22 overall). I really dont know who would take that job though. Snyder is terrible as an owner, and seems to like to have his hands in everything.

Was it really security or was it something more like he'd been there forever and thought the offer was an insult and is moving on out of pride? His comment was about security at this point in his career Im pretty sure. There is his quote

Something I was thinking about regarding Jarmillo. He didnt accept Texas's 1 year contract offer because he wants more security. Ok so how is he going to get more security with the Cubs right now? We have a manager in his last year of his contract, and its pretty much a foregone conclusion this will be his last year, and we have a new owner who once he gets full control may or may not get rid of Hendry in the next year or so. Jaramillo becoming the Cubs hitting coach offers no more job security than his job with the Texas Rangers. I suppose if Lou leaves they can ask the new manager to keep Jaramillo, but its not a given that the new manager would be ok with that.

Rickey Williams is back playing football like he used to. Hes been impressive this year.

With Lee and Castro in our system, I think that makes the most sense. Might as well let LeMahieu get comfortable playing 2nd base in the minors instead of being switched later on in his career because of Lee or Castro(hopefully).

Seriously, how they hell could the umpires not be able to tell that the ball went off Utley's leg? I mean the ball was going backwards/sideways, then suddenly went forward. Its inexcusable that none of the umpires could see it.

The Rams just turned the ball over in the redzone AGAIN! 3 times today lol

3 turnovers and 2 in the redzone will do that to you two of those fumbles looked to be really unlucky flukes. The fumble on the pass was great Yea St Louis has looked pretty good moving the ball, and outside of that 1st possession Minny hasnt done much on offense. Rams hung tough with GB too till 2nd half, I expect the same this game.
