Some of what I do involves promoting Christian concerts. I’ve asked some of those people about it as a Cubs fan and they know nothing of her. She is non-existent in those circles. She is only Instagram famous.

Is this because he got booed mercilessly as he was announcing every draft pick the day before? I guess the message was received? Is there a pro sports commissioner that doesn’t get booed at every draft? I mean, Roger Goodell deserves it but they even booed David Stern. Definitely joking. He obviously didn’t make a decision in 36 hours because he felt like people didn’t like him.

I haven't watched any games yet, but if that's where the booth is headed in relation to any advanced analytics, you can count me out. If I want to hear how great batting average, rbis and pitcher record is I can find plenty in the cesspool that is Facebook and reddit. Nerd

They're picking us at about 78 wins, so 90+ wins seems a little excessive. I'm not sure anyone else in the NL Central will get to 90+ wins either. What happens to bets on these numbers if there are games unplayed due to outbreaks?

losing len hurt me more than any chicago athlete leaving ever has. i guess we all just assumed that he would be here for a very long time. when was the last time the Cubs lost or any other Chicago team lost a real stud in their prime? I was really bothered when the Cubs lost Maddux. I wasnt shocked because everyone knew it was coming. It still bothers me that the Cubs screwed up so bad with a HoFer and then have the audacity to retire his number. I think the thing with Len is the shock of it. You always get the sense that relationships are ending no matter what level they are on. This completely floored me. Did you just compare “Kasper to the Sox” to “Maddux to the Braves”? Nah.

I started to make a tongue-in-cheek comment that perhaps the score informed Kasper that the radio pbp job was promised to Zach zaidman when Hughes hangs em up. Couldn’t remember his name exactly. Learned that some pretty gory stuff has happened to people named Zach Zabin and Zach Sabin.
