Kind of small sample, you might want to look at Castillo (31.3%), Schierholtz (20.5%) and Valbuena (22.5%) who aren't far behind. He also has a .800+ ops .749 compared to those 3 struggling to put up .650.. Also what was Rizzo's K rate in his first 50 major league games? 29.3%

52, by the 1903 Pirates. It's a long season, if we don't get it on this stretch we'll have more chances. '85 Astros went 42 for a more-recent mark. That's one to shoot for. But I can't blame the front office, because you *have* to see what Lake can do, and Schierholtz was a bargain, and really you know you'll get good $/WAR out of Sweeney.

It's not uncommon for a pitcher to "touch" a velocity 5 MPH faster than where they usually work. It's usually a high, straight fastball that they'd wear out in two innings if they threw every time. -
