  1. That's been the difference in this series they have buried most of their chances. Agreed.
  2. If that puck is two inches to the right or left and hits Crawford in the leg, and Sharp and Leddy hit open nets, then the Hawks look brilliant. It's hockey, finishes and bounces win. They've been awesome at finishing chances.
  3. I really want that Sharp shank back now. And Leddy's.
  4. Outskated there. They beat us fair and square on that PP. And probably the series now.
  5. Season over. No one did anything obviously terrible on that goal that I could see. Just happens.
  6. No expectations at this point so I'm still cool. Game 7 may get to me.
  7. Another defenseman shanks a shot into him and Quick's knob will be polished endlessly for an amazing save.
  8. I see we've reached the "I'm an [expletive] who can't stick to the topic but instead makes things personal" part of Truffle's evening. If Buxton was a Cub prospect, "The Astros botched by not taking Buxton" would be a completely uncontroversial statement with the people who are currently arguing with it.
  9. Buxton > Correa + McCullers Edit: Buxton + plus whomever they would have drafted with the McCullers pick
  10. Buxton is better. That's all that matters.
  11. I flipped away the last 3 seconds. I guess I missed something cool. My own fault.
  12. Your first clause contradicts your second. Buxton > Correa Bryant > Appel Both in ways that should have been known on draft day by a good organization. Botches.
  13. Correa was a botch? Without a doubt.
  14. That was almost insanely prophetic.
  15. I wonder how many years in a row the Astros can have the No. 1 overall pick and botch it.
  16. Nothing on the 2-on-0? If they don't win tonight, that's gonna haunt.
  17. Season back on! Need about three more to win tonight.
  18. But there's like a million different ways a team can underperform their peripherals. You could always find one to say we're not as bad as we look.
  19. Well, I'm glad Travis Wood had a good year last year so that spot was settled forever because starting pitchers are totally reliable.
