    Rosscup has been awful in the minors for years (great K rate, waaaaay too many BBs). After 11 not-terrible innings, excluding today, he's being put in the good category. Seems a bit premature.

    Popped it straight up. He just stood there a few steps from the plate, forcing Montero to bump into him as he tried to get by, then flipped his bat straight up in the air. It didn't do any harm, but it could have.
